TO: Mallette Training Facility (MTF) – Building 6008 Jayhawk Rd., Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005

From Washington/Baltimore (I-95 North) Visitors, Trucks and Government Employees
  • Take I-95; exit 80 (Riverside/Churchville) bearing right onto MD 543 South towards Riverside. Drive for approximately 2.5 miles road ends at US 40.
  • Turn right onto US 40 East (Pulaski Hwy/S Philadelphia Blvd). Proceed for approximately 3 miles and take exit for MD Rt. 715 (Maryland Blvd).
  • Merge onto MD Rt. 715 East (Maryland Blvd) and proceed for approximately 1.2 miles to the Maryland Gate entrance of APG.
  • Proceed through Security Checkpoint.
  • Continue straight, at 2nd stoplight, turn right onto Combat Dr.
  • Take the 3rd left onto Belair St
  • The MTF will be on the left about .4 miles up Belair St and the main parking lot will be on the right. Overflow parking is available by turning left at the MTF.

From Delaware/New Jersey (I-95 South) Visitors and Trucks and Government Employees

  • Take I-95; exit 85 (Aberdeen) onto MD 22 East (left turn).
  • Proceed on MD 22 for approximately 2.1 miles to US 40 West.
  • Turn onto US 40 heading West toward Aberdeen and proceed for approximately 2.2 miles, until reaching MD Rt. 715 exit (Maryland Blvd).
  • Merge onto MD Rt. 715 East (Maryland Blvd) and proceed for approximately 1.2 miles to the Maryland Gate entrance of APG.
  • Proceed through Security Checkpoint onto Maryland Boulevard.
  • Continue straight, at 2nd stoplight, turn right onto Combat Dr.
  • Take the 3rd left onto Belair St
  • The MTF will be on the left about .4 miles up Belair St and the main parking lot will be on the right. Overflow parking is available by turning left at the MTF.

From Route 22 Gate Federal ID (CAC) Holders only

  • Drive through Route 22/Harford Gate onto Harford Blvd.
  • At the 2nd light, make a right onto Maryland Blvd.
  • At the next light turn left onto Aberdeen Blvd.
  • Turn right at the 2nd light onto Frankfort St.
  • Turn right at the 1st stop light onto Frankford St.
  • At the traffic circle take your 2nd right onto Belair St.
  • The MTF will be on the right and the main parking lot will be on the left. Overflow parking is available by turning right at the MTF.

* Please note: There is limited parking available at the Mission Training Facility. Parking is on a first come, first serve basis. Use of the Mallette Training Facility, in addition to scheduled training, may create problems for parking. If personnel are located at the C4ISR Center of Excellence, walking to the MTF is encouraged.


Access to APG for Government ID holders: Common access card (CAC) or other Government ID can enter APG using either the MD Rt. 22 Harford Gate or the MD Rt. 715 Maryland Gate. Show the guard your ID as you enter.


Access to APG for non-CAC or non-Government ID holders: All visitors must check in at the APG Visitor Center at Maryland Gate (Rt 715). To get to the Visitor Center turn right after passing through APG’s outer fence towards golf course, Visitors Center is on the left. Visitors will need to sign in each day at the VISITOR CENTER. To obtain a vehicle security pass, provide a driver’s license, vehicle registration and proof of insurance. Please observe the speed limit.


Citizenship: Only US citizens are permitted area access without Foreign Disclosure approval (minimum of two weeks notice required for processing). Dual citizens are considered foreign nationals.


Gate Information:
The Maryland Blvd. Gate (Rt. 715) is open 24 hours daily, 7 days/week.
The Harford Gate (Rt. 22) is open 0500-1900 hours daily, Monday – Friday.


Parking:

VIP Parking – The VIP parking lot is located directly in front of B6008. Designated reserved parking spaces will be assigned for General Officer and Senior Service Executives.

Main Parking - The main parking lot is located directly on the opposite site of the street from the VIP parking lot and the entrance of B6008. This lot contains approximately 155 parking spaces. If this lot is full, you may park in the overflow parking lot located in front of C4ISR Complex (B6000) which is located to the left of the building (see map).
